On-site research Olympus.

On the 16th of November, Pieriki (Πιερική Αναπτυξιακή) has welcomed ETAM in order to visit the mythical mountain massif of Olympus and to view and examine the elements that justify the world-known emblematic dimension that fits the Emblematic project.
Although #Olympus was in the middle of a local cyclone phenomenon, Pieriki team (Betty Partsalidou, Kostas Zapounidis, Νίκος Τζέγκας) with ETAM have visited several of the points that constitute the #emblematicdimension of the mountain. Traditional villages of extremely aesthetic architecture, the natural environment, the points where the mountain reaches the Mediterranean Sea, the Olympus piedmont, the Museum of National History were some of the visited points.
The #mythical essence of #Olympus was offered in order to create the baseline for discussions on several themes as to organize eco-itineraries, to link the offered options for the visitors, to link/support/promote/modernize the several refuges of the mountain to organize the management of such actions.
ETAM (Nicos Drakonakis) has expressed that it is a reality that Olympus offer to the visitor a sense of reaching something extraordinary and mythical, not only by climbing to the peak but also by wondering around the surroundings. And yes, visiting Olympus within a cyclone, offers different icons to take with you!!!
