On-site research Gran Sasso

On-site research for the studying phase of EMbleMatiC project in Gran Sasso mountain (Abruzzo, Italy). Project’s external expert with the support of partner GAL Gran Sasso Velino (Maria Irene Sulpizio) and local stakeholders (Carla Ianni) visited the area (Campo Imperatore, Fonte Vetica, Castel del Monte, Santo Stefano di Sessanio, Rocca Calascio Castle) recording the uncontamined nature, the wild and intact places and the visible traces of an ancient civilzation.

Nature, biodiversity, cultural heritage, outdoor leisure were some of the characteristics recorded for the amazing and undisclosed Gran Sasso Mountain, in the heart of Italy.
