On-site research St. Victoire.

EMbleMatiC Sainte-Victoire (FR) was the next stop of the on-site research for the studying phase of EMbleMatiC project.
Christiane Capus and Daniel Rozec representing the Grand Site Sainte-Victoire and Sophie Jollois (Fuveau Tourism Office) supported ETAM (Manolis Tsantakis) team on site.

Laid back from the mountain Sainte-Victoire, the working team focused on potential itineraries that may give an opportunity to tourism and sustainable development in the valley while going through its villages. Considering different activities such as hiking and cycling, the on-site team took advantage of an on-going project of circuit named “ Provence, land of energies“. That led them to the Mine museum in Gréasque. Enjoying the views at a distance towards the mountain the team visited an art and craft site that deserves growing and popped in the Museum of Mediterranean forest just across in Gardanne.

After the on-site visit we could state: “Enjoy the unexpected is the idea!”, “Visitors definitely need experiences to live“, “Links must be created or structured between the different areas“.
